I am passionate about discovery and creativity. I love working at the intersection of
medicine and engineering and employing outside the box multidisciplinary ideas to solve complex problems in neurological and psychiatric disorders.

I am a research assistant at the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering housed at Purdue University with experience in implantable neural stimulators, neuroscience, and biomedical optics. I received a bachelors of electrical engineering from Saint Louis University, a masters of electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University and am currently a PhD candidate in neuroengineering also from Purdue University.

I am driven by my passion to develop next generation medical devices for neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions. I am also passionate about developing low cost neurological diagnostics for the developing world.
I am an active guitarist and bassist, having played in many successful bands which have toured the United States. I studied jazz string bass at the University of Illinois and continue to play and teach in the West Lafayette, Indiana area.
